Karen Felice, Beginner 3 Head Coach

With more than a decade of competitive synchro skating experience and another decade of synchro coaching to her credit, Karen has achieved a wide range of experience at nearly every level of the sport.  From 1985-95, she competed across the country at the Juvenile, Novice, Intermediate and Senior team levels with Team Elan, winning an International Senior team Championship and seven National medals, including a Senior National Championship Gold medal in 1995.

As a PSA-rated coach, Karen has fielded synchro teams in the Youth, Pre-Juvenile, Adult Masters and Junior Classic divisions.  Her individual skaters have achieved Senior Moves and regional competitor status.

Karen began her skating career at Lakeland Arena at the age of only two-and-a-half. She is trained in ballet, tap and jazz and was a member of the Southfield Ice Show.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in human resources from Oakland University with a specialization in training and development.
