Kara Helgemo
Beginner 2 & 3 Assistant Coach

Beginning in 1997 and continuing for the next seven years, Kara grew up skating with Team du Coeur, moving from the Youth/Pre-Juvenile level into Teen/Open Juvenile, Intermediate and Junior Classic teams.

Her synchro experience includes participation in four National Championships at the Junior or Senior level, earning a bronze medal in 2005, as well as representing the U.S at the Prague Cup, Czech Open, French Cup, and Spring Cup.

She began coaching with TDC in 2004 and has worked with teams in the Pre-Juvenile, Open Juvenile, Intermediate, and Beginner divisions.  Her individual skating tests include Senior Moves in the Field, Silver Dances and Pre-Juvenile Freestyle.  Kara is a student at Oakland University studying physical therapy .
