Kayla Ridgway, Intro and Beginner 2 Assistant Coach

Kayla is a nine-year veteran of Team du Coeur, and was part of the 2006 Midwestern Championship team. She has advanced through our ranks and, after graduation, she joined the synchro coaching staff to work with our many Beginner synchro skaters.

In her 12 years of skating at Lakeland SC as a student of Karen Felice, Kayla earned her Intermediate Moves, Silver Dances and Preliminary Freestyle. She’s played many roles in Lakeland ice show productions, including TweedleDum in “Wonderland on Ice,” and a Lost Boy in “Peter Pan.”

Enjoy practice, enjoy competition, but most importantly, enjoy the times you have with your teammates. You'll talk about those things much more than your competition placements. What counts is that you have fun.”
