For more than a decade, Team du Coeur has fielded award-winning USFS synchronized skating teams for skaters of all ages. Located in Oakland County near the Pontiac-Oakland Airport, Team du Coeur is proud to offer a strong synchronized program that allows each child to fully enjoy their skating while remaining competitive within their division.
Our coaches and assistant coaches all bring international competition experience with senior or junior level synchronized skating teams to our program. Our managers and volunteers are both dedicated and experienced, allowing our coaches to focus on the well-being and performance goals of their teams, while the off-ice needs of skaters and parents remain in good hands. Our off-ice synchro programs include conditioning and ballet, as well as off-ice team practices. This season, our teams took top honors at their highest level of competition as the 2010 Open Juvenile Midwestern Champions (Red Balloons) and the 2010 Pre-Juvenile Midwestern Champions (Fire)! Previously, Team du Coeur teams were the 2008 Pre-Juvenile Midwestern Pewter Medalists (Charlie’s Angels) and the 2006 Open Juvenile Midwestern Champions (Bewitched). Team du Coeur is excited to once again field Pre-Juv and Open Juv teams for the 2010-2011 season. We will also field Beginner Teams and an Introductory team again this season for those enrolled in Learn to Skate lessons or at the Pre-Preliminary test levels. Additionally, we expect to field a new Preliminary team or a Juvenile team. Tryouts are held annually in May and are open to skaters of all ages. For more information, please see the Registration page on our site, or contact our General Manager or Director. |
